Self-Managed Superannuation

With something as important as your financial future, self-managed superannuation is a way that you can have a better say in what your future looks like.

Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) are a popular option for many working and retired Australians. Currently there are over 570,000 SMSF’s in Australia controlling over $600 billion in assets.

Take Control Of Your Super

A SMSF provides one of the most tax-effective ways to grow wealth for retirement as well as providing a flexible way of achieving this. Establishing and administering an SMSF, however, can be time consuming and confusing. The area of superannuation, and in particular SMSF, is an increasingly complex and strongly regulated environment.

The law changed, effective 1 July 2016, to require that anyone giving advice in relation to SMSF’s must be licenced with a full Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) or be a Limited Authorised Representative of an AFSL holder.

Gary Dent is a Limited Authorised Representative (AR 1237260) of Merit Wealth Pty Ltd (ABN 89 125 557 002), AFSL 409361. For more information, please review the Privacy Statement.
